As existing infrastructure ages and new designs push to be more environmentally friendly, the use of the Ecoraster product is ciontinually evolving. This is no more evident than in the municipal world where storm water management is ever more difficult to manage. Ecoraster Permeable Paving and the Bloxx permeable product have been used world wide for parking lots for years as their permeable qualities has allowed for some moisture to permeate back into the soil and not have to be managed in a storm sewer. New designs have been incorporating this product into water retention systems that are virtually eliminating the need to tie into a storm sewer taking the pressure off of aging infrastructure. New designs like some shown above are taking roadways to the next level and incorporating this same design to further reduce impact of water management.
